What’s included in the download?
When you download the results of "Compare by article", the following data is included:
Download timestamp
Clause number
Clause title
File names and links for:
The source contract (“Compared From”)
The comparison target contract (“Compared To”)
Full text of the compared clauses
⚠️ Notes
Tables are not included in the downloaded Excel file.

How to download comparison results
Display clause comparison results
First, compare your contracts using the standard comparison steps.
See: [How to compare contracts]
On the right side of the Compare by article view, click [Download results].
This downloads an Excel (.xlsx) file containing the comparison data.
⚠️ Notes
You cannot download Full-Text comparison results as an Excel file.
To save Full-Text results, use your browser’s print function to print or save as PDF.
Highlights in the download
Your Excel file will reflect whether highlights are shown on or off at the time you click [Download].
If highlights are ON:
Differences in the source contract: red, bold, underlined
Differences in the target contract: blue, bold, underlined
If highlights are OFF:
All text will appear in black, with no special formatting.
💡 Tip: If you rearrange clauses using drag-and-drop before downloading, the order you see on screen will be reflected in the Excel file.
Clauses not in the source contract
Clauses that exist only in the comparison target will appear at the bottom with:
A blank cell in the source contract column
Text in the target contract column
