[New] Importing a Playbook using the Excel file (Including Playbook Alerts) - OLD

About this feature

This feature allows you to create new Playbooks by filling in a downloadable Excel template with Playbook content (including Playbook Alerts) and importing it into LegalOn.

Note: This feature is for Third-Party Playbooks only. You cannot use it for First-Party Playbooks.

How to create a Third-Party Playbook using the Excel template

1. Download the template

  1. Go to [Alert settings] → [My Playbooks]

  2. Click the [▼] dropdown and select [Import playbook]

  3. Click [Download template]

2. Fill out the template

Open the downloaded Excel file and fill in the required information on each sheet.

⚠️ Notes

  • The Playbook name on the “Playbook” sheet is required, along with at least one of the following:

    • At least one Playbook Alert on the “Playbook Alert” sheet

  • Importance levels cannot be set via the template. All imported alerts will default to “High.” You can change importance levels later in LegalOn. See [How to create and manage Third-Party Playbooks] for details.

3. Save the file

Save the Excel file after entering all required details.

4. Upload the template

  1. Return to [My Playbooks]

  2. Click the [▼] dropdown and select [Import playbook]

  3. Upload the saved file and click [Import]

Your new Playbook and Playbook Alerts will be created based on the template data.

⚠️ Notes

  • This feature is for Playbooks only. You cannot use it for First-Party Playbooks.

  • You cannot use this feature to edit existing Playbooks or Playbook Alerts. If you enter a duplicate, it will be registered again.

  • If the import fails, you’ll see an error message: “Import failed.” Check the [Details] column for the specific issue.
