[New] How to View Reports (Workload)

This article explains how to use the Workload tab in the Reports feature of the Matter Management module.

Requirements

User type:

  • Matter Management: Pro

View Reports

1. Go to [Reports], then click the [Workload] tab.

2. Switch views using options like User or Role.

For details, see “What You Can Do in the Workload Tab” below.

What You Can Do in the Workload Tab

1. Change filters and display settings (applies to the entire tab)

a: Select users

Filter the data to show a specific member.

b: Switch roles

Choose how to view the ongoing matters:

  • Main assignee (matters where the user is the main assignee).

  • Sub-assignee (matters where the user is the sub-assignee).

  • Main + Sub-assignee.

* If you select “Main + Sub-assignee,” the same matter is counted separately for each role.

2. Check unassigned matters

See how many ongoing matters do not have a main assignee (and, depending on your settings, a sub-assignee).

Click [View Matters] to go directly to a filtered list of unassigned matters.

⚠️Note:

The number of matters shown and the list you open may change depending on the Role setting. This is because the results vary based on whether a main or sub-assignee is set.

3. Check workload by assignee

See an overview of each member’s current matters in charts and tables.

a: Role

Shows the number of ongoing matters (excluding completed ones) assigned to each user.

b: Breakdown

Change how the data is shown by:

  • Due date

  • Status

  • Matter type

  • Requesting department

c: Risk indicators

Members with overdue matters are highlighted with red text and a warning icon, so you can quickly see who may be overloaded.

d: View details

Click a member’s name to see a list of their ongoing matters (such as matter name, due date, and status).

Click a matter name to open its details page.

How to Change the View

a: Sort

Sort the list by number of matters or by member name (ascending or descending).

b: Filter

Narrow down the data.

c: Display format

Switch between a visual chart and a detailed table.
