When A Customer Cancels An Order For Being Late

When an order goes late, the customer has the opportunity to cancel the order.

When that happens, a one-star rating is left with a review stating, accurately, that the order was not delivered on time.

This is done to represent the experience a customer had and can expect with the freelancer, and since the order was not delivered, the funds are returned.

โ€‹To avoid this, you can follow some of these steps:

  • Increase your estimated delivery time. We suggest you add the maximum numbers of days you think it could ever take you, then add a couple more to be safe.

  • Request an extension from the customer as you approach the deadline.

  • Communicate with your customer if you think there will be a problem. If they know you are working on it, they will likely be ok.

This is all done to protect the integrity of the Legiit marketplace and help both customer and freelancer, and benefits everyone.
