Most call problems come from the call being open in more than one tab, or from the browser not having access to your microphone or camera. If you can't fix it quickly, switch the session to Zoom or Google Meet so your client isn't left waiting.
Try these steps
Close extra tabs. Having the same call or event open in two tabs causes echo and audio delay. Keep one tab open.
Refresh the call page and rejoin.
Check permissions. Make sure your browser has access to your microphone and camera, and that you've picked the right mic and speaker (especially with wireless earbuds).
Close other apps that might be using your camera or mic, like Zoom or FaceTime. A VPN or strict firewall can also block the call.
Ask your client to rejoin from their link. If they say they're in the call but you can't see each other, both of you should leave and rejoin.
How do I switch to Zoom or Google Meet?
Go to Calendar > Edit availability and scroll down to the conferencing settings. Choose Leland, Zoom or Google Meet. New sessions use the provider you choose. Zoom needs a connected paid Zoom account. More in Scheduling and Recording Sessions.
Where are my recordings and transcripts?
Recording, transcripts and session summaries are available on the Leland video platform. Ask your client before you record. Summaries and transcripts only work if both you and your client have turned them on in settings. If a recording is missing, submit a support ticket with the session date.
Still not working?
Submit a support ticket and include the session date and time, your client's name, your device and browser, and a screenshot of any error. It helps us find the problem faster.
