How to Use the Bank Transactions Page:

How to add an existing account

  1. Click on the Manage tab and select Bank Transactions under the Accounting section.

  2. Click on the Add Bank Account box under the bank feed.

  3. Choose to link an existing account.

  4. You will get a brief explanation of the benefits. If satisfied, click the Next button.

  5. You will be prompted to connect with Plaid.

  6. After clicking continue, you will be prompted to select your bank.

  7. Once you’ve selected your bank, you will be redirected to your bank's website to authenticate your account.

How to add an offline account

  1. Click on the Manage tab and select Bank Transactions under the Accounting section.

  2. Click on the Add Bank Account box under the bank feed.

  3. Choose to link an offline account.

  4. You will get a brief explanation of the benefits. If satisfied, click the Next button.

  5. Enter the account details.

  6. Review your information and click the Save Account button once satisfied.

  7. Once you have the account in your bank feed, you can manually add transactions or import a CSV file of the transactions from that account.

Review and edit bank transactions

  • Once you’ve linked your bank accounts with transactions, you will be able to review the transactions on the page.

  • Click on the account of interest to view all transactions for that account.

  • To assign a transaction, click the desired transaction so it opens to the edit page, then choose the category it fits into.

  • Decide whether to keep the transaction unassigned or assign it to a property or company, add any additional notes or files, then click the Save button once complete.

  • Use the Reconciled tab to view all transactions that have been assigned to a category.

  • Use the Time filter to view transactions from the dates of your choosing.

  • Use the Assigned To filter to view all assigned transactions or certain properties, depending on your needs.

  • Use the Category filter to view either all or specific categories.

  • Use the Category Type filter to view all transaction types or specific types.

  • Use the Deleted tab to view all transactions that have been deleted.

Pro Tip: To delete all of your transactions at once, simply check off the transactions you want to delete and select the trash icon in the top right corner above the transactions.
