Bank Transactions Page

The bank transactions page is a central location for all of your banking information. Here, you can link your bank accounts and view your transactions all in one place.

How Use the Bank Transactions Page

  1. Click on the ‘Manage’ tab and select ‘Bank Transactions’ under the Accounting section.

2. To link a bank account click on the transparent blue bordered square with a plus under the bank feed.

3. Choose whether to link an existing account or to create an offline account.

4. If you choose to link an existing account, you will get a brief explanation of the benefits, if satisfied click the blue ‘Next’ button.

  • You will be prompted to connect with Plaid.

  • After selecting continue, you will be prompted to select your bank.

  • Once you’ve selected your bank, you will be redirected to your bank's website to authenticate your account.

5. If you choose to create an offline account, you will get a brief explanation of the benefits, if satisfied click the blue ‘Next’ button.

  • You will be prompted to enter your Account name, Bank name, Account type.

  • Review your information and click the blue ‘Save account’ button once satisfied.

  • Once you have the account in your bank feed, you can manually add transactions or import a CSV file of the transactions from that account.

6. Once you’ve linked your bank accounts with transactions, you will be able to review the transactions on the page.

7. Clink on the bank account of interest to view all transactions for that account.

8. To assign a transaction, click the desired transaction so it opens to the edit page, then choose the category it fits in to.

9. Decide whether to keep the transaction unassigned or add it to a property or company, add any additional notes or files, then click the blue ‘Save’ button once complete.

10. Use the Reconciled tab to view all transactions that have been assigned to a category.

  • Use the date filter to view transactions from the dates of your choosing.

  • Use the ‘All Assigned’ filter to view all assigned transactions or certain properties depending on your needs.

  • Use the ‘All Category’ filter to view either all or specific categories depending on your needs.

  • Use the ‘All Type’ filter to view either all transaction types or specific types depending on your needs.

11. Use the Deleted tab to view all transactions that have been deleted.

  • Use the date filter to view transactions from the dates of your choosing.

  • Use the ‘All Main Type’ filter to view either received, spent, or all transactions depending on your needs.
