The Deal Analyser tool in Lendlord is designed to help users assess and compare property deals efficiently. If you encounter issues while using this tool, here are some common problems and their solutions.

1. Saving Updates in the Deal Analyser

Problem: After making edits in the Deal Analyser, your updates aren't saving or seem to disappear when navigating away or comparing deals.
Cause: The tool requires a two-step save process to commit changes. If you only save within a popup, the changes are temporary and won't be fully preserved.

Solution:

  1. After editing fields in a popup, click the Save button inside the popup.

  2. Then, click the main Save button at the top of the Deal Analyser page to finalize and save all changes. This will create a prospect property which you can later view with the changes.

By following this process, you ensure your updates are properly saved and remain intact even after navigating away.

2. Understanding "No Data" or "No Results" Messages

Problem: When analyzing a property in the Deal Analyser, you see a "No data" or "No results" message.
Cause: These messages indicate that there isn’t sufficient information available for the selected property from the underlying data source (PropertyData). This is typically due to a lack of detailed property information for the address or area and is not caused by an app or browser issue.

Solution:

  • Verify the property address or details entered. If the address is correct, the issue is likely due to limited data availability for that specific property or area. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the data source and not an error you can resolve within the app.

By understanding these common issues and their solutions, you can make the most out of the Deal Analyser tool and troubleshoot effectively.
