If a student clicks Finish by mistake, teachers and administrators have a 24 hour window to reopen an Assesslet for student access. Responses that fall within the 24 hour window will have a status of Pending. Once the 24 hour window has closed, the responses move to Waiting to be Scored. At this point, they can no longer be continued or reset as they have been sent to our scoring team to be scored.
How to Continue or Reset Student Responses:
1. Click Live Responses from the left menu.
2. Click the Live Responses button to the right of the underlined name of the activity.
3. Find the student(s) with the Pending status and click on their underlined name.
The students Responses will appear in a new panel to the right.
4. Click on either the Continue Response button or the Reset Response Button.
*IMPORTANT*
The Continue Response button will reopen the Assesslet with the students responses saved, so that they can start where they left off. The student is then able to log back in and complete the Assesslet at any time during the testing window.
The Reset Response button will reopen the Assesslet with the students responses erased from the test, so that they can start from the beginning. The student is then able to log back in and take the entire Assesslet at any time during the testing window.
NOTE: Again, this must be done during the 24 hour Pending time period. Once the Assesslet has moved to the Waiting to be Scored status, it can no longer be continued or reset.
