This guide provides instructions on how to create resources that can be used with multiple student actions. Resources can be things such as a passage, image, chart, etc., that may be used with multiple different student actions (items). Creating a resource that is then added to a student action allows you to use the resource over and over again without having to recreate the resource each time. This also allows you to group student actions by the resource.

1. Click on My Resources in the left hand menu.

2. Click the Add Resource button.

3. Enter a name for the resource and click the Next button.

4. Edit the Resource details tile to include the grade, subject, description, resource type, and resource format.

NOTE: The resource format will allow you further in the panel to upload a document, enter a URL, or insert an image in the workspace.

5. Add any custom tags you wish to use.

6. Enter the resource (either upload a document, enter a URL, or insert an image in the workspace) in the space provided.

7. If you wish to add actions (items) from this panel, you can do so by clicking the Add Actions button. However, this can be done later through the My Actions menu. See the Guide for Creating Student Actions or Items.

8. If you wish to share this resource with a colleague, click the Share with Selected Colleagues button.
