Teachers can control student access to an Assesslet by scheduling a date and time range using the Status feature. This feature is particularly helpful for remote learning administrations, where students may be taking the Assesslet from home.

1. Under Assesslet Activities in the left side menu, click on the subject (Language Arts in this example).

2. In the Learning Activities list, click on the name of an Assesslet to open the Learning Activity panel to the right.

3. In the Details tile, locate the Status section. The status will be set to Active by default.

NOTE:

  • Active means the Assesslet is visible to students at any time (if the Assesslet has been assigned to the student).

  • Inactive means the Assesslet is not visible to the student (even if the Assesslet has been assigned to the student).

  • Scheduled means the teacher can set specific dates and times when the Assesslet will be visible (if the Assesslet has been assigned to the student).

4. Click on Scheduled to set a date and time for the Assesslet administration.

5. Click on the date fields to choose a start and end date.

6. Click through the pop-up calendar to choose the date for each field.

7. Use the drop-down menus in the Open Time and Closing Time fields to select a window of access time, in fifteen minute increments.

8. Click the Exclude Weekends check box to mark the Assesslet inactive from 12:00 AM Saturday to 11:59 PM Sunday.
