Teachers can control student access to an Activity by scheduling a date and time range using the Status feature. This feature is particularly helpful for remote learning administrations, where students may be taking the Activity from home.

1. Click on My Activities, School Activities, or District Activities on the left side menu.

2. Click on the name of an Activity to open the Learning Activity panel to the right.

3. In the Details tile, locate the Status section. The status will be set to Active by default.

NOTE:

  • Active means the Activity is visible to students at any time (if the Activity has been assigned to the student).

  • Inactive means the Activity is not visible to the student (even if the Activity has been assigned to the student).

  • Scheduled means the teacher can set specific dates and times when the Activity will be visible (if the Activity has been assigned to the student).

4. Click on Scheduled to set a date and time for the Activity administration.

5. Click on the date fields to choose a start and end date.

6. Click through the pop-up calendar to choose the date for each field.

7. Use the drop-down menus in the Open Time and Closing Time fields to select a window of access time, in fifteen minute increments.

8. Click the Exclude Weekends check box to mark the Activity inactive from 12:00 AM Saturday to 11:59 PM Sunday.
