If your district or school has ordered Moby.Read Oral Reading Fluency (ORF) Assessments, it is important to understand the assigning process.
District Administrators grant access to a Moby.Read Assessment to specific schools.
School Administrators grant access to a Moby.Read Assessment to specific teachers.
Teachers assign the Moby.Read Assessment to their classes or selected students.
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
For District Admins:
1. Under Assesslet Activities in the left side menu, click on Moby Read (ORF).
2. Click on the name of the Moby.Read Activity Bank you wish to assign.
3. Click the green Give Access To All to grant access to all schools in the list, or click the Give Access buttons to the right of selected schools to grant access to individual schools.
4. Click on the red Remove Access or Remove Access From All buttons to remove access if needed.
For School Admins:
1. Under Assesslet Activities in the left side menu, click on Moby Read (ORF).
2. Click on the name of the Moby.Read Activity Bank you wish to assign.
3. Click the green Give Access To All to grant access to all teachers in the list, or click the Give Access buttons to the right of selected teachers to grant access to individual teachers.
4. Click on the red Remove Access or Remove Access From All buttons to remove access if needed.
For Teachers:
Note: Administrators can impersonate a teacher to complete this step, or allow the teacher to do this from their account.
1. Under Assesslet Activities in the left side menu, click on Moby Read (ORF).
2. Click on the name of the Moby.Read Activity Bank you wish to assign from.
3. Click on the green Assign This Activity button to the right of the name of the Moby.Read Benchmark you wish to assign.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the Learning Activity panel and click the green Assign This Activity button.
5. Then click on either the All Students button to the right of the class names to grant access to all students, or click the Selected Students button to expand the list of students in the class, then click Assign next to the student names to assign to individual students.
6. Click on the red Remove button to the right of a students name to remove access if needed, or to remove access from all students, click the bigger red Remove button which will be located in the same spot as the All Students button in step 3.
