What is Leonardo.Ai?
At Leonardo.Ai, we're developing a comprehensive content production suite that integrates various generative AI technologies into a single, production-ready platform.
Our aim is to augment the creative process and speed up creative workflows, and progressively build advanced generative Ai tools, models, pipelines, and processes that easily fit into various content production systems
Will I still own the content generated using Leonardo.Ai if I switch from paid to free?
When you generated content privately as a paid subscriber, Leonardo.Ai assigned to you all rights, titles, and interests in the outputs generated and returned by the services based on your input. This does not change even if you switch to a free account. For more details, please refer to the Terms of Service.
Can I use the images I generate on the platform for commercial purposes?
Yes, you can use the images you generate on the platform for commercial purposes. This applies for free users too. Read more here.
Can I control who can see my generated images?
Paid subscribers on premium plans have access to the 'Private Mode' toggle, allowing control over the visibility of generated images. If you generate with 'Private Mode' ON, the generated images are private and only visible to you. If you generate with 'Private Mode' OFF, the generated images are public and visible to all Leonardo users. Read more here.
Can I generate private images?
Yes, you can generate images privately when you are on any of the paid plans. Private image generation is exclusive to paid members. To enable this feature:
Subscribe to a paid plan at app.leonardo.ai/buy.
Turn the 'Private Mode' toggle ON to access private image generation. This toggle is located on the left sidebar of the AI image generation page.
How to delete my generated images?
Deleting images requires a paid subscription - To delete your generated images, click on the image, then click on the trash can icon.
Deleting images requires a paid subscription - To delete an entire generated set of images, click on the three dots and click on delete all.
How to delete my uploaded images?
To delete your uploaded images, please click on the image guidance icon at the left of the prompt bar.
Select any image guidance to open the upload modal. Click on the image you want to delete and then click on the trash can icon on the lower right to delete.
Will my content be kept private or can it be used by Leonardo.Ai or other users?
As per our Terms of Service, you can generate privately using any of the paid subscription plans. Private images cannot be accessed or used by others. Leonardo.Ai do not have the right to use your private images.
For public images, Leonardo.Ai has the right to use, copy, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, create derivative works from, display, perform, sublicense, and distribute your text prompts, images, and any generated assets. This license enables Leonardo.Ai to share these assets publicly and use them for service improvement and promotion.

To gain access to the Leonardo.Ai app, follow these steps:

What are the username requirements for Leonardo.Ai?
Usernames must adhere to the following criteria:
Minimum of 4 characters
Maximum of 15 characters
No special characters (underscore '_' allowed), spaces, or duplicate usernames
Using Leonardo.Ai on mobile
Leonardo.Ai is available as an app for Android and Apple iOS devices! If you're on a mobile device, we recommend using the app for the best experience.
Can I change the language on Leonardo?
At this moment, Leonardo's interface and functionalities are optimized for English to leverage the capabilities of our AI image generation models fully. While we do not offer multi-language support right now, it's something we might consider adding down the line. Thank you for your patience and understanding
Can I change the email address on my Leonardo account?
Unfortunately it is not possible to change the email address on your Leonardo account, please take care to use the correct email address when creating your account.
How does Content Moderation work at Leonardo.Ai?
We take the safety of our community very seriously, which is why Leonardo.Ai implements robust content moderation practices.
Our system includes two key levels of moderation: prompt-level and generation/output-level filtering. At the prompt level, certain combinations of words may activate filters to prevent inappropriate content generation. For outputs, any generation that might contain Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content is automatically flagged, allowing users to click to reveal if desired. You can enable (or disable) showing these image generations in your feeds by default by navigating to the Profile section in Settings (18+ required).
We're constantly refining our filters to strike the perfect balance between being overly cautious and too permissive, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.
How does Not Safe For Work (NSFW) Content Moderation differ between free and paid accounts?
The differences in Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content moderation for free and paid accounts are currently difficult to qualify. We are always updating our NSFW content moderation to make sure that the platform is safe for all. The only way to check is to use the lowest tiered paid subscription to verify for your particular use case and prompts.
When on a free account, you may get the message "Free users are subject to stricter filtering. As such your prompt has been blocked as it may result in inappropriate content. You may modify your prompt and try again or upgrade to a paid account." We recommend avoiding prompts that may lead to depictions of pornography, violence, etc. as listed in the Limitations of Use in our Terms of Service.

How do I change my password?
Unfortunately the only way to do this currently is to logout, then use "Forgot your password?" to reset your password. Note that resetting password only works if you are using username and password as authentication method, as opposed to using Apple, Google, or Microsoft login. Apologies for the inconvenience, we are working on implementing improved account management options.
Why am I not receiving the email after clicking "Forgot your password?"
Resetting your password only works if you are using email and password as login method. If you are using Apple, Google, or Microsoft login, you will not receive an email to reset your password.
How much do premium Leonardo.Ai web plans cost?
To learn about the pricing for premium Leonardo.Ai web plans, please check the Premium Plans page within the Leonardo.Ai web app. You can find it on the left-hand bar, "Premium Plans" tab.
How do I request a refund or a reimbursement?
Refunds or reimbursements are assessed manually by a human agent. To request a refund or a reimbursement, click on "Talk to a person" button within the chat support to get in touch with a human support agent. Alternatively, you can send us an email at support@leonardo.ai or reach us via the Contact Form here. Please specify "Billing" as reason for contact and the email you use for your Leonardo.Ai account.
Can I request support to answer in another language?
Unfortunately, we currently don't provide support in languages other than English. Our AI support bot and our human agents are only able to provide answers in English. We recommend using an online translator to understand the English answers. To interact with a human agent, please press "Talk to a human".
Do you offer a free trial on consumer subscription plans?
Unfortunately, we currently do not provide free trials for consumer plans. We recommend that you purchase a plan to try out your use case. If the product does not meet your use case, you can simply cancel the subscription.
Do you offer a free trial on business subscription plans (Team plans)?
We may grant a trial for Team plans on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to our business team via the contact form here. Please choose the reason for contact as "Business", use your company email address, and specify how many licenses you wish to purchase.
How do I download a custom model I trained?
Unfortunately, we currently do not support downloading a custom model. Please file a feature request with us detailing your use case and how you want to use the custom model once you downloaded it.
How do I talk to a human support agent?
Within the chat support function on the lower right of the app, the AI answers will offer the option to "Talk to a person". Please click on the "Talk to a person" button with you would like to connect with a human support agent.
How to add a model to Your Models section?
To add a model in Your Models section, you need to train your own custom model. To train a custom model, follow this guide.
Do you support payment via Paypal?
Unfortunately, we currently do not support payment via Paypal. We are working adding this soon on the platform. Kindly open a feature request with us by pressing on "Talk to a human" button.
How do I download many images in bulk?
Unfortunately, we don't have a UI feature to download many images in bulk.
Why do generations cost more on Leonardo API compared to the Leonardo web app?
The generation cost for Leonardo API and Leonardo web app are different because the Leonardo API uses API Credits, while the Leonardo web app uses Tokens.
Tokens and API Credits are not directly comparable as they are calculated differently. One key difference is, Tokens expire, whereas API Credits don't have an expiration. To help plan your costs on API, you can refer to the Pricing Calculator or the Pricing Calculator API endpoint.
