Welcome to Leonardo.Ai! We’re glad you’re here. This guide will get you started in creating your first images on our AI-first creativity suite. Create visual assets from illustrations to marketing materials with unprecedented quality, speed, and style-consistency.
After logging on to Leonardo.Ai, head over to our web application and follow the following steps.
Quick, easy image generation from the home page
Whether you're new to AI generation or want to jump right into creating your idea, the fastest way to generate is right from the Leonardo.Ai home page!
Click the prompt box, enter your prompt and click Generate. That's it! We'll pick what we think is the best model based on your prompt.
To take it a step further with a bit more control, the expanded prompt box allows you to upload reference images, choose image dimensions, styles, and specific models (this will take you to the AI creation page).
Generating in the AI Image Creation tool
To access the AI creation tool, select image beneath the prompt bar (A) or from the left side bar (B) on the home page.
In the side bar, you can adjust several key settings based on your needs. Note that the available settings vary from model to model.
Models menu- Choose which Image model you want to generate with.
Generation mode - Fast or Ultra. Fast mode is great for rapidly ideating at a lower cost. Ultra mode produces high-fidelity images at a higher token cost. Try ideating in Fast mode and Upscaling your favourite image.
Image Dimensions - Select your aspect ratio and image size.
Number of images - Select how many images you want to generate.
Private mode - Available to paid users, Private Mode toggled ON ensures anything you generate is not visible to the public feed (generation visibility can be changed - learn more here).
Add to Collection - Use this to select where your generation should go or create a new Collection for your generation to be added to. Learn more about Collections here.
Based on the model and settings, the token cost will be displayed on the Generate button. Note that Free users have 150 daily tokens.
After generating, your images will appear in the AI Creation feed and in your Library (Accessible via the home page side bar).
If you're happy with an image, you can hover over it to Upscale, share, download, Edit, or turn it into a Video. The creative possibilities are endless!
