Are the lender matches ranked by best fit, or is it just an alphabetical list?

What drives the order of your match list, and why it sometimes looks alphabetical instead.

Written by Kaylan Pepin

Matches are ranked by relevance, not listed alphabetically. The system surfaces the lenders that best fit your specific deal first, with a plain-language explanation of why each one fits.

Click through the walkthrough above to see the ranked list and the fit reasons on it.

If the list looks alphabetical

It usually means one of two things: matchmaking has not been run yet on the deal, or you are browsing the full lender directory rather than viewing match results.

Run matchmaking on the deal and you will see the qualified lenders prioritised by how well they align with the deal, using the answers from the matchmaking questionnaire.
