The completion progress bar tracks how much of the application is filled in for that lender. As you complete fields and accept the AI's suggestions, the percentage climbs.
Click through the walkthrough above to see the Accept All pass that moves the bar in one go, then read what the number is counting.
The fastest way to fill it is to upload good documents so AI AutoFill populates the data, then click Accept All to apply the suggestions in one pass. Fields the AI cannot determine are left open for you to complete manually. Once the application is complete, the bar hits 100% and the Submit button turns on so you can send it to the lender.
What the asterisk next to a question means
An asterisk marks a question as required. Required questions are the ones that have to be answered before the application can be submitted. Questions without an asterisk are optional: they are there because some lenders find the extra context useful, and you can leave them blank.
Un-asterisked questions still count in the progress numbers. Answering one moves the counters, the same as answering a required question. If the only things left on your screen are un-asterisked questions and you are not sure what is keeping the bar short, email contact@levr.ai rather than guessing.
Why the percentage can look wrong
The number is not a count of the questions currently on your screen. It is a count of completed items against the total items on that lender's application, with documents counted alongside the questions. Every item counts, optional questions included, so each one moves the bar by a small amount. For example, 3 items complete out of 30 shows as 10%. That is why the percentage and your own sense of what is left can disagree:
Documents are counted as items too, so several outstanding document requests will keep the bar lower than a single unanswered question.
Each lender application has its own bar. Two applications on the same deal can show different percentages because the lenders require different things.
The "x/y completed" number beside a section heading counts that section only, which is why it will not match the overall percentage.
If the percentage is far off from what you can actually see outstanding, for example the bar reads a very low number while only one or two answers appear to be missing, that is worth reporting rather than working around. Email contact@levr.ai with the deal name, the lender, and the number you are seeing.
To move the bar the fastest: upload the documents first, run AI AutoFill, use Accept All, then answer the asterisked questions that are still open, since those are the ones that have to be answered.
