Two things decide what is required: your own request pack, and the lender.
The documents you make required
Go to Settings > Request Packs > Client Intake > Documents. Tick the files clients must upload. Ticked items become required, unticked items are suggested.
A good practice is to start with a lighter set, often an ID and a few months of bank statements, then collect more as specific lenders ask for it.
The documents the lender requires
Each lender also has its own list of required documents, shown on their profile. When you select that lender, their document list appears on that lender's application. If a document you expected is not listed there, check the lender profile before re-uploading anything.
