How to set it up
From your home screen, scroll down to Manage branding across portals.
Add your logo, business name, and brand colors.
Connect your custom domain. You will need access to your DNS settings for this step. If someone else manages your website, they can add the records for you.
Test your sign-up link. It now shows your domain.
Most of the branding setup is quick. The DNS step is where it can stall.
DNS troubleshooting: when verification will not confirm
Most white label setups stall at the DNS step rather than the branding step. These are the two failures we see most often, and both look like the platform is broken when it is not.
1. Cloudflare is proxying the record (the orange cloud)
If your DNS is on Cloudflare, a new CNAME record is created with proxying turned on by default. That is the orange cloud icon next to the record. When proxying is on, Cloudflare answers lookups with its own addresses and hides the target you entered, so our verification check cannot see the value it is looking for. It will not confirm, no matter how many times you retry.
The fix: open the record in the Cloudflare DNS dashboard and click the orange cloud so it turns grey. Grey cloud means DNS only, which is what verification needs. Save, then run the check again.
Worth checking every record you added for this setup, not only the first one. It is common for one to be left proxied.
2. s1._domainkey and s2._domainkey are already taken
Email authentication for your domain uses the DKIM selectors s1._domainkey and s2._domainkey. Those exact selector names are also used by several other providers. Wix is the one we run into most, but any platform already sending email from your domain may have claimed them.
If those records already exist and point somewhere else, your DNS host will either refuse to add ours or silently keep the existing values, and email verification will not pass. We do not currently support a custom DKIM selector, so there is no way to sidestep the clash by using a different name.
What to do:
Look up your domain's existing s1._domainkey and s2._domainkey records and find out which provider they belong to.
Work out whether that provider is still sending email from this domain. If it is not, for example an old website builder you have since left, the records can be removed and replaced with ours.
If that provider is still sending mail from the same domain, the two cannot share the selectors. The usual way through is to white label on a subdomain that is not already used for that email sending, so the selectors are free.
If verification still will not confirm after both of these are ruled out, send us the domain name and a screenshot of your DNS records and we will look at it directly rather than have you keep retrying.

Q: Will my clients see the platform's name anywhere?

Q: Do I need a developer?
A: No. The only technical step is adding DNS records for your domain, which your website manager can do. We can also walk you through it live.
Q: Can different teams or products have their own branding?
A: Yes. You can create a portal for each product or team and brand each one independently. Brokers you invite can also set up their own branding or use yours.
Q: What if I'm not ready to white label yet?
A: You can share just the applications with clients in the meantime. That keeps what clients see to a plain application until your branding is ready.
