Can I set up one shared admin or support account instead of many individual admins?

Use one shared mailbox as admin instead of handing admin rights to many people.

Yes. Instead of giving admin access to lots of individual people, you can invite a single shared account, such as an IT or support department mailbox, to act as the admin. You invite it from within the platform just like any other team member. This keeps management central and avoids the "too many admins" problem, while your loan officers still get their own portal access.

What that shared account will see

Know this before you set it up: management group admins have access to every business in their portal. A shared admin mailbox sees all of them, not a subset. If you need someone limited to certain businesses, do not give them the admin role.

Which role you are assigning

There are two separate sets of roles in the platform and they are not the same thing.

  • Admin and member. This is the pair that applies to a shared support or IT account on your own team. Admin is the level described above.

  • Business Owner, Collaborator and Partner. These sit on a business or deal and control who can act on that specific client, not on your whole portal.
