If your manuscript is currently in Draft, it means you have started the upload process but have not yet completed all the required steps. To make your work visible to readers and publishers, you’ll need to finalise your submission and publish it on the platform.
What You Can Do While in Draft
A manuscript in Draft is saved progress that only you can see. You can return to it at any time to continue editing or completing the details. This includes:
Uploading or updating your PDF manuscript file
Adding your cover image
Writing or revising your title, summary, and “Story of Your Story” section
Choosing the correct genre and collection
Reviewing your submission for accuracy
Nothing will be visible to readers or publishers until you complete and publish your work.
How to Finalise Your Draft
Follow these steps to complete the publishing process:
Log in to Libraro and navigate to your author dashboard. Select the manuscript currently marked as “Draft.”
Complete Missing Sections
Make sure all required fields are filled in, including:
Title (under 100 characters)
Summary (under 500 characters)
Uploaded PDF file (no larger than 30 MB)
Cover image (3:4 ratio, 360px by 480px, no larger than 5 MB)
Review Your Details
Double check your content for spelling, formatting, and overall accuracy. Once published, changes can still be made, but it’s best to ensure everything looks right before going live.
Click “Publish”
Once everything is complete, click the Publish button at the bottom of your upload page.
What Happens Next
After you publish:
Your manuscript will undergo a brief Compliance Review to make sure it meets Libraro’s publishing guidelines.
Once approved, your sample chapters will become visible on the platform.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your work is live.
