Portals are fully customizable landing pages where you control exactly what visitors see and in what order. You can add different types of content blocks and arrange them to create a polished, easy-to-navigate experience.

Four types of content blocks

Mix and match these blocks to build your Portal:

Kits - The main containers for your assets and documentation

Headings - Section dividers that break up your Portal into clear areas

Notes - Text blocks for descriptions, instructions, or announcements

Banners - Eye-catching callouts for important messages or updates

Add and arrange content

The portal editor is a live look at your Portal as visitors will see it. There is no need to enter a separate edit mode.

  1. Open your Portal

  2. Drag content blocks from the insert panel on the left

  3. Choose a content block type and drag it onto the page

  4. Complete the next steps for the block type

After you've added some content blocks to your portal, you can rearrange them by dragging and dropping them into the desired order.

Adding Kits

  1. Drag the Kits content block from the Insert Panel

  2. Select the Kits you want to include

  3. Click Add

Pro tip: You can add multiple Kits at once by selecting more than one in the selection window.

Adding Headings

  1. Drag the Heading content block from the Insert Panel

  2. Enter the heading text

Adding Notes

  1. Drag the Note content block from the Insert Panel

  2. Type your content

  3. Format as needed

Adding Banners

Banners are full width images, just like banners in Kits.

  1. Drag the Banner content block from the Insert Panel

  2. Choose an image

Removing content blocks

  1. Open the Portal

  2. Select the content block you want to remove

  3. Right click (or select the ••• button)

  4. Click Remove from Portal

Removing a Kit from a Portal does not delete the Kit itself. It will still be accessible via your Dashboard and will remain in any other Portals it was added to.

Design a clear structure

Think of your Portal as a story. Use different content blocks to guide visitors through your content naturally.

Start with context Open with a note or banner that explains what visitors will find:

  • "Welcome to the Acme Brand Portal—everything you need to represent our brand"

  • "Q2 2024 Product Launch Materials—Updated Jan 15"

Organize with headings Break your Portal into clear sections:

  • "Brand Essentials"

  • "Marketing Templates"

  • "Product Resources"
