Only Messages in your Inbox and Alerts can be archived. Archiving on your end will not archive the Message for the recipient(s), like your client.

If anyone responds back to a thread you have archived, it will automatically unarchive the thread and notify you.

To unarchive a message thread:

Method 1:

Reply to the archived Message. This brings it back to the active Messages in your Inbox.

  1. Select Inbox in the Left-Hand Menu.

  2. Navigate to the Archived tab.

  3. Select the Message you want to reopen.

  4. Type a Message in the Reply box.

  5. Select Send.

  6. The Message will move back to Inbox once the recipient has replied to your Message.

Note: Messages cannot be reopened if the contact or the employee has been archived.

Method 2:

If you do not want to send an new message to a Contact, you can pin the archived message. The message will be moved to your Pinned tab. This is an easy way to identify a message that will need your attention in the future.

Unarchiving a message thread only unarchives it in your inbox and does not impact other recipients, such as your client.
