Uploading files—whether it’s one or many—is simple and efficient. Follow the steps below to share documents with your clients or team, along with helpful tips for ensuring clarity and organization.

Files uploaded outside of a message or task can be marked as Firm Only—meaning clients won’t have access to them unless you choose to share the file with them later.

To Upload Files

  1. Select +Add New in the upper-left menu.

  2. Select File.

  3. In the To field, choose the appropriate Recipient(s) and Account(s).

  4. Add a Tag, Month, and Year to help categorize the file for your client.

  5. Use drag and drop or select Browse to choose one or multiple files.

  6. (Optional) Type a custom message to your client in the Message box—this adds helpful context for what you're sending.

    • Use message templates to save time.

    • If no message is added, an automated message will be sent.

  7. Select Upload.
