Inviting Clients to Liscio

Your firm controls when your clients are invited. You can send invitations in a few different ways.

Any Contact with an email address can be sent an invitation.

Invites expire after 7 days. To resend multiple expired invites at once under Bulk Actions.

Ways to Invite Clients

Send a Direct Invite

  • Go to the Contacts page in the left-hand menu

  • Hover over the contact’s name

  • Select the Send Invite icon

Send a Task

If you send a Task to someone who isn’t on Liscio, they’ll automatically get an invite.

Send a Message

Same goes for Messages—if the contact hasn’t joined Liscio yet, they’ll be invited automatically.

After accepting the invite, their status will change from Invited to Active.

What Your Clients See

Here’s how clients activate their account:

  1. Activate Account: They receive an email and select Activate Account or copy the link

  2. Create Password: Must be at least 12 characters, including a number, special character, and upper/lowercase letters

  3. Select Next

  4. Confirm Details: Review name, add mobile number

    • (Optional) Turn on text notifications by selecting Allow Texting

  5. Select Finish

  6. Accept Terms: Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service

  7. Select Submit

Pro-Tip: Clients can simplify logins by enabling one-click login through Google or Office 365.
