Request Information is an open-ended task that allows you to collect information from your clients (photo of a drivers license, etc.) and is considered the "general" task.

To create a Request Information Task:
Click the +Add New at the upper-left hand side of your screen.
Click Task.
Click Request Information.
Select the Account and Client.
Enter a Subject and Description, or click into the subject line and select a task template.
Attach a file if necessary.
Click Create Task.
Here's how your clients can attach any file(s) needed and complete a Request Information Task:
Open the Task from their To Do List on the homepage or by going to the Tasks page on the left side menu bar.
Attach files by either:
Dragging files directly into the Attachments box, or
Clicking "Browse," selecting files, and clicking "Open."
Optionally, name and tag the files.
Click "Upload" to complete the attachment process.
Once files appear in the task, clients click "Mark Complete" to finish.
You will receive notifications when your client comments or uploads a file to the Task. You'll receive a separate notification once they press Mark Complete, which moves the Task into Pending Review for you to review.
