If you split rent outside of business hours and your rent payment to your landlord is scheduled for the next business day, you can cancel it directly from your Livble dashboard or app as long as it hasn't started processing yet.
π When Is My Rent Scheduled?
When splitting rent after business hours, your rent payment to your landlord may be scheduled to be paid the next business day.
If you split during business hours or used Instant-Split, your rent was paid immediately, it cannot be canceled.
β° When Can I Cancel?
You can cancel when your first installment shows as Pending.
β Pending = Can Cancel
Your rent payment is scheduled but hasn't been submitted yet. You can cancel it yourself.
β Processing = Cannot Cancel
Your rent payment has been submitted to your landlord. It cannot be stopped.
Once processing begins, the cancel option disappears.
π² How to Cancel
Go to your Livble dashboard or app
Look for the banner showing "Your [Month] rent is scheduled" and select "See details" - the scheduled rent details will open
Tap "Cancel scheduled rent"
Confirm you want to cancel
Your scheduled rent is canceled immediately. You will not be charged.
β What Happens After I Cancel?
Your rent will not be paid to your landlord
Your first installment will not be debited
You can set up a new split-rent plan if you're still eligible
Important: If a late fee posts to your ledger before you split again, you won't be able to split rent that month
π Can I Set Up a New Plan After Canceling?
Yes! You can set up a new split-rent plan for the same month, as long as your account is still eligible.
Quick Steps to Split Again:
π Log in to your Livble account
π Start a new split-rent request from your dashboard
ποΈ Pick your installment dates
When splitting after hours, you may see:
β‘ Instant-Split (if available, adds $10): Pays rent right away, requires debit card for first payment
π Schedule for next business day (no extra fee)
π³ Have funds ready
Your first installment and origination fee are debited right away once the plan is activated
π‘ Tip: If this is your second attempt after canceling, consider using Instant-Split (if available) to lock in payment immediately and avoid late fees.
β οΈ Important:
If a late fee posts to your ledger after you cancel but before you split again, you're no longer eligible to split rent that month
Make sure your bank has enough funds when you re-split (either immediately or by 2 PM ET the next business day if scheduled)
π« I Don't See the Cancel Option
If you don't see "Cancel scheduled rent":
Your payment may have already started processing (check your installment status)
Your rent may have been paid immediately (if you split during business hours or used Instant-Split)
Contact Livble Support if you need help
π Key Reminders
This is about canceling your rent payment to your landlord, not your installment payments to Livble
You can only cancel before processing starts (while status = Pending)
After canceling, watch for late fees if you're close to your rent due date
