How to Filter my Reviews for Effective Analysis

Filtering your reviews helps you zero in on the insights that matter most—whether you’re tracking product feedback, monitoring response performance, or spotting trends across locations. Here’s how to use Localyser’s filter options to find exactly what you need.

🔍 Accessing the Filters

  1. Go to Reviews in the side menu.

  2. Click Filters above the review list.

  3. Choose one or more filter options to refine your results.


🛠 Available Filter Options

1. Search

  • Enter keywords or phrases (e.g., a new menu item name, “slow service,” “vegan”).

  • Finds reviews that mention your specified terms.

2. Rating

  • Select star ratings (1–5) to view all reviews with those scores.

  • You can choose multiple ratings at once (e.g., only 1‑ and 2‑star reviews).

3. Date Range

  • Set From and To dates to see reviews within a specific period.

  • Great for month‑over‑month or seasonal comparisons.

4. Locations

  • Pick one or more storefronts or branches.

  • Compare performance across your entire network or focus on a single site.

5. Review Type

  • General Reviews: Platforms like Google, TripAdvisor, Yelp.

  • Delivery Reviews: Apps such as Deliveroo, UberEats, Zomato.

6. Review Site

  • Choose individual sites (Google, Facebook, Foursquare, OpenTable, etc.).

  • Filter by source to see platform‑specific feedback.

7. Feedback Tool

  • Show only reviews collected via your Feedback Landing Page (QR code).

  • Ideal for isolating proactive customer feedback.

8. Review Category (Premium)

  • AI‑powered tags like Food, Service, Atmosphere, Delivery, Price.

  • View positive vs. negative sentiment within each category.

9. Case Resolution (Premium)

  • Filter by case status: In Progress, Resolved, Closed.

  • Helps track which reviews still need attention.

10. Review Actions

  • View reviews that were Updated or Deleted by customers (Google only).

  • Keeps you aware of changes in customer feedback over time.


💡 Pro Tips

  • Combine Filters: Mix and match—for example, 1‑star reviews from Google in the last 30 days at one location.

  • Export Results: After filtering, click Export to download the subset for deeper analysis or team sharing.

By using these filters, you’ll uncover targeted insights faster—so you can respond to issues, celebrate successes, and continuously improve your customer experience.
