Customizing Notifications for Daily Email Alerts and Periodic Reports

This guide explains how to tailor your email notification preferences in Localyser.

Configuring Daily Email Alerts

To receive daily email alerts for new reviews, follow these steps:

  1. Access Email Notification Settings

    • Go to the Settings menu in the side navigation.

    • Select Notifications from the settings options.

  2. Set Up Daily Alerts

    • Toggle the first option to Yes to start receiving daily email alerts.

    • Choose the frequency for review alerts: Daily, Weekly, or Both.

    • Review Content Preferences: Select whether to receive alerts for reviews with text, reviews without text, or both.

    • Include Edited Reviews: Opt in to receive alerts for reviews that have been edited by customers.

    • Feedback Landing Page Reviews: Choose whether you’d like to be notified about reviews collected via the Feedback Landing Page.

    • Set Alert Timing: Pick the time of day you prefer to receive your daily email alerts (options: 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 6 PM).

    • Define Rating Thresholds: Specify the star ratings (e.g., 4–5 stars) that will trigger alerts for new reviews.

    • Add Team Recipients: Include additional email addresses to share the alerts with your team. These recipients will receive notifications but won’t have access to Localyser if they aren’t users.


Configuring Weekly and Monthly Reports

To receive periodic reports, follow the steps below:

  1. Access Report Notification Settings

    • Go to the Settings menu in the side navigation.

    • Select Notifications under the settings options.

  2. Set Up Report Preferences

    • Toggle the first option to Yes to start receiving weekly and/or monthly email reports.

    • Choose your preferred Report Frequency: Weekly, Monthly, or Both.

    • Schedule Weekly Reports: Select the day of the week (e.g., Monday, Tuesday, etc.) to receive the weekly report.

    • Schedule Monthly Reports: Choose the specific day of the month (e.g., 1st of the month) to receive the monthly report.

    • Set Report Timing: Choose the time (e.g., 9 AM, 12 PM, etc.) for sending weekly and monthly reports.

    • Select Report Types: Decide on the types of reports you want to receive, such as performance, location-specific reviews, sentiment analysis, etc.

    • Assign Brands to Reports: Opt to receive reports for specific brands and select whether you want separate emails for each brand.

    • Add Team Recipients: Include additional team members' email addresses to share the reports with them. Like with alerts, they will receive notifications but will not have access to Localyser unless they’re users.


By adjusting your notification settings for Daily Alerts and Weekly/Monthly Reports, you can make sure you and your team receive important updates in a timely manner, customized to your preferences. This helps keep you informed and responsive to customer feedback, ensuring your team stays aligned with customer sentiment and performance insights.
