What are Secure Notes?
While the password vault is primarily used for storing (you guessed it!) passwords, there are other types of company data that it's also important to store securely. Secure notes are another type of "record" that you can save in the vault, and are purpose-built for storing non-account data like credit card numbers, banking info, software licenses, and more.
How to Create a Secure Note
Open the Lockwell desktop or mobile app
Enter your Master Password to open the Password Vault
Click the + button and select Secure Note
Add whatever sensitive company info you need to store
Store info in the notes field, or add custom fields to label your data
After saving your secure note, you can share it with members of your team
