What are Issues?

When Lockwell identifies a threat to your security framework, it will flag a Security Issue. Beyond probing the dark web for compromised accounts, Lockwell oversees your password vault, network, and every device for potential weak spots. Upon detection, Lockwell promptly alerts you and guides you through the mitigation process.

Security issues are generated for users to resolve when vulnerabilities are detected. Lockwell alerts the user to the vulnerability and walks them through resolving it.

Vulnerabilities include:

  • Phishing: Digital scams crafted through social manipulation aimed at seizing your sensitive data, including financial details, potentially jeopardizing both you and your customers.

  • Ransomware: Harmful software that locks you out of your computer system, demanding payment for access restoration. Alarmingly, 51% of victims find themselves compelled to pay the ransom.

  • Unsecured Networks: Often referred to as "man-in-the-middle attacks." These are weak networks, commonly found in places like coffee shops or airports, that can potentially grant unauthorized entry and pave the way for cyberattacks.

  • Email Viruses: Harmful software that infiltrates your system via email attachments or clickable links. It's the leading method for introducing cyber threats.

  • Compromised Devices: Devices tainted by hacking attempts or malware, granting unauthorized access to sensitive information. This encompasses staff using personal computers or gadgets.

Lockwell will identify the vulnerability and alert you via of the issue via email & desktop notification. Lockwell will provide a recommendation and let you know what action is needed.

Critical Service Issues include:

  • Your account has a weak password.

  • There's a duplicate password detected.

  • Your account lacks 2FA for services that mandate it.

  • Your account has been identified in a breach.

Resolving Issues:

  • Lockwell will notify you to update your password.

  • Lockwell will notify you of the duplicate password.

  • Lockwell will notify you to add 2FA to your account.

  • Lockwell will recommend a resolution based on the Breach.

Recommendations:

Lockwell will notify you and the admin on the account. If no action is taken Lockwell will automatically update the issue priority and send alerts for your own safety. It's important to maintain the security of your services as unresolved issues will affect your Lockwell Security Health Metrics and Color.
