Disabling the Lockwell Email Firewall is not something we recommend and therefore we don't have a direct option to disable our email firewall feature. Our email firewall is designed to protect your organization from malicious emails and is an integral part of our security system. It automatically scans incoming emails for potential threats and labels suspicious ones in your inbox.
However, if the need arises, you can follow these steps to disable the Lockwell Email Firewall:
Microsoft 365 / Entra Setup
To disable Lockwell's Email Firewall in Microsoft 365 or Entra, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Sign in to Microsoft Entra
Open Microsoft Entra: entra.microsoft.com.
Log in using your Administrator account.
Step 2: Navigate to Enterprise Applications
In the navigation menu, go to Applications.
Select Enterprise Applications.
Search for and select Lockwell from the list of applications.
Step 3: Manage Permissions
Once inside the Lockwell application, navigate to Permissions (under "Security").
Step 4: Revoke only the Mail.ReadWrite Permission
Revoke only the
Mail.ReadWrite
permission.
Important If you revoke any of the other permissions, Lockwell won't work as intended.
Lockwell's Email Firewall will now be disabled.
