How to customize Orders dashboard views

Use search, filters, date ranges, and saved views on the Orders dashboard to monitor the right order set.

Written by Max Villemure

Quick answer

Customize Orders dashboard views when your team needs to monitor the same order subset repeatedly, such as a status, channel, date range, priority, or fulfillment condition.

Common use cases

  • Merchant admin: Track orders that need review or follow-up.

  • Operations manager: Monitor a recurring order segment without rebuilding filters.

  • Support: Recreate the exact order list a customer or operator is seeing.

When to use this

  • You repeatedly monitor the same order subset.

  • You need to review orders by status, date, channel, priority, or fulfillment condition.

  • You need a consistent view before exporting or investigating orders.

Before you start

  • Confirm the workspace and date range.

  • Clear old filters if the order list looks unexpectedly narrow.

  • Use a saved view name that your team can understand later.

Steps

  1. Open Orders, then choose Orders.

  2. Use quick search if you know an order identifier or strong search term.

  3. Choose a date range when the review is time-based.

  4. Open Filters.

  5. Use Add filter to add one or more conditions.

  6. Review the visible order list and confirm it matches the intended workflow.

  7. Save the filter or view if the same list will be reused.

  8. Rename, replace, or remove saved views when the operating process changes.

Steps 1-5: Use quick search, date range, Filters, and Add filter to narrow the Orders dashboard before saving the view.

What good looks like

The Orders dashboard shows the expected order subset, and the saved view can be reused for the same review without rebuilding filters from scratch.

If this happens

What to do next

Expected orders are missing.

Clear filters and rebuild one filter at a time, starting with date range and status.

A teammate sees a different saved view.

Saved-filter visibility may depend on user, role, or account setup. Contact support with both users and the view name.

A help link points outside current Logentic docs.

Use the current Logentic Help Center and contact support with the stale link location.
