How do I edit their role or remove a Collaborator?

Learn how to change your collaborator's permissions or remove them from calendars or your subscription.

1. How to remove a collaborator from one or several calendars?

You can check how many users are currently under your plan from the Billing section of Account Settings

To remove a collaborator from a specific calendar: 

Any collaborator with the permissions to manage collaborators within a calendar can remove collaborators by following these steps.

1. Go to the calendar's settings where you would like to remove a collaborator

2. Go to the Collaborators tab of Calendar Settings
3. Click Remove for the collaborator you wish to remove 

4. Confirm that you would like to remove the collaborator 


To remove a collaborator from a calendar from Manage Users:

The subscriber, also known as the Owner for all calendars, can only access Manage Users.

1. Go to Manage Users from the Users section of Account Settings

2. Click the Update User icon for the user who you would like to remove from a calendar

3. Select "No access (Choose role)" in the drop-down for the calendar you no longer want your collaborator to access

4. Click Save Changes


To remove a user from your subscription:

The subscriber, also known as the Owner for all calendars, can only access Manage Users.

A collaborator will need to be removed from all calendars you own to no longer be considered a user under your subscription.

1. Go to Manage Users from the Users section of Account Settings

2. Click the Remove User icon

3. Click Yes

📝 Note: Any posts assigned to and created by the removed user will be attributed to the subscriber.

2. How to change a Collaborator's role?

You can change a collaborator's roles at any time as long as you are the owner or an editor of a calendar.



To update a collaborator's role:

1. Go to the calendar settings for the calendar in which you want to change a user's permission levels

2. Go to the Collaborators tab of your calendar's settings
3. Click Update Role for the collaborator you wish to remove
4. Select a role based on the predefined Roles or Custom Role
5. Save so that your collaborator now has the updated permission levels

Custom Roles are only available on the Advanced Plan and up

To update a collaborator's role to multiple calendars from Manage Users:

  1. Go to Manage Users from the Users section of Account Settings

  2. Click the Update User (pencil) icon for the user whose role you'd like to update

  3. Make the necessary changes. Select a role if you'd like them to have access to the calendar, or select "No Access (Choose Role)" if you do not want them to have access to the calendar

  4. Click Save Changes

The subscriber, also known as the Owner for all calendars, can only access Manage Users
