In this article, we'll also review:
1. How to connect your Pinterest account
Loomly will automatically connect to the Pinterest account you are logged in to within your internet browser.
To connect your Pinterest account
Go to the Social Accounts tab of your Calendar Settings page, and connect your Pinterest account by clicking on the green Connect button for Pinterest:
Once you have connected your Pinterest account to your calendar, you can select the board in Fine-Tune Content step of Post Builder.
📝 Note:
Loomly was created on a calendar basis. In each calendar, you can connect one account per social media platform. So if you need to connect two Pinterest accounts, for example, you will currently need to create two calendars. You can also easily create a post that will be cloned on multiple calendars. You will be able to access all posts from All Calendars.
If you want to connect Loomly to a different Pinterest account, here is how:
Remove your Pinterest connection from Loomly.
Visit Pinterest.com and make sure you are logged in as the actual Pinterest account you want to connect to Loomly.
Go back to Loomly and connect Pinterest again to your calendar.
Otherwise, you can try connecting through a new Incognito or Private browser window.

3. Features
A. How to add a Pinterest destination link and title
Add Pinterest destination links and Pinterest titles to your pins in the fine-tuning section of the Post Builder.
To add a Pinterest destination link:
Add a URL to the caption, then the green Edit Link Metadata button will appear.
Remove the URL from the caption of the post.
Edit link metadata to a full, non-shortened URL if you would like to update the destination link.
To add or change a Pinterest title:
Simply add or edit a title in the Title section.
B. How to add a link to your pin and include a description/note
Your Pin's description or note might be missing if a URL is included in the caption of the text, even though your post was successfully published.
In order to add a link to your pin AND include a description / note, you will need to follow these steps:
Insert the URL in the Generic Content step of your post.
Remove the URL from the text in Fine-Tune Content step
Confirm that the URL is included in Edit Pinterest Link Metadata.
There is a character limit of 240 characters when you add a Link Metadata. If you have a Link Metadata included in your post and surpass 240 characters in the text field, then the description / note will not be published to your Pin.
We recommend staying at or under 240 characters when there is a link preview for Pinterest.
📝 Note: Without a Pinterest Link Metadata, the character limit cuts off after 500 characters.
