How to set up a bonus loyalty system - Poster

You need to log in to your Poster account. If you have a Connect account, you need to log in to that!

Set up a bonus loyalty system so that customers can accumulate bonuses and use them to pay the bill or part of it. To do this, create customer groups and set up the rules for transitioning between bonus groups.

Creating customer groups

Create customer groups to set up bonus accrual.

Add customer groups to set up bonus collecting. To do this:

Go to Marketing → Customer groups in the management console.

  1. Click Add.

  2. Name group, e.g. “5%”.

  3. In Loyalty program field choose the Cash-back rewards system.

  4. Enter bonus size, e.g. “5%”.

  5. In Birthday bonus field enter bonus size which will be automatically enlisted to a customer on birthday.

  6. Click Add.

💡 Set up different percentages for different customer groups.

Transition conditions between cash-back rewards groups

You can set up an automatic increase of bonus percentage, turn on the transition between cash-back rewards groups and enter the sum of purchases to transfer.

To set up transition conditions between customer groups:

  1. Go to Marketing → Loyalty.

  2. In the Cash-back rewards program section enter the Maximum % of receipt paying with bonuses, e.g. enter “100%” so your customers could pay the whole receipt with bonuses.

  3. In Registration bonus field enter the sum which will be enlisted after the registration of the customer.

  4. Enable the transition between groups.

  5. In Transition conditions choose a group from the drop-down list and enter the sum of purchases, after reaching this sum customer will move to the next group and get a higher percentage of bonus enlisting.

  6. Click Add and enter all stages of transferring between groups.

  7. Click Save.

If customers collected enough bonuses and want to pay receipt with them — receive payment in bonuses.
