The Google Sheet Sync in LPagery allows you to manage your pages directly from a Google Sheet. This means you can control page creation, deletion, and updates based on the data in your sheet, without needing to log into WordPress every time you make a change. Here’s how it works:

This feature is available for the LPagery Extended plan and above.

How It Syncs

LPagery checks the linked Google Sheet at regular intervals set in the LPagery Settings. During each check, LPagery looks for any changes in the sheet:

  • New Row Added: If a new row is detected, LPagery will create a new page based on the data in that row.

  • Row Modified: If any existing data is updated, the corresponding page will also be updated with the new data.

  • Row Deleted: If a row is removed, the corresponding page will be deleted.

Note: The above actions (create, update, and delete) will only be applied if the corresponding checkboxes are enabled in the Google Sheet Sync Settings. Ensure you configure these settings based on your desired behavior for the sync process.

By leveraging this syncing capability, you can effectively manage your website’s content from a Google Sheet, allowing you to adjust, add, or remove pages with ease.

Benefits of Google Sheet Sync

  • Effortless Content Management: You only need to update your Google Sheet to create, modify, or delete pages, without navigating through WordPress.

  • Time-Saving: For sites with high-volume or frequently changing content, Google Sheet Sync streamlines the management process.

  • Reduced Errors: Managing your data in one centralized sheet helps ensure accuracy across your pages.

Example Workflow

  1. Add New Content: Adding a new row in your Google Sheet with the required information (like title, description, etc.) will prompt LPagery to automatically create a new page.

  2. Update Content: Editing data in an existing row (e.g., changing a phone number or updating hours of operation) will lead LPagery to update the page with this new information.

  3. Delete Content: Removing a row from your Google Sheet will cause LPagery to delete the associated page, keeping your site up-to-date.

Note: Always ensure that your Google Sheet is accessible and that the sharing settings allow LPagery to read the data. Additionally, be cautious when making changes, as LPagery will automatically apply them to your pages.
