You can create dynamic meta titles and descriptions for your generated pages by using placeholders in Yoast SEO. This allows the meta data to change automatically based on the content from your LPagery source file, improving your SEO without manual updates.

How to Insert Placeholders in Yoast SEO

  1. Go to the Template Page:

    • Open the WordPress page that serves as the template for your LPagery-generated pages.

  2. Find the Yoast SEO Meta Fields:

    • Scroll down to the Yoast SEO section, where you can see fields for the meta title and meta description.

  3. Insert Placeholders:

    • In these fields, insert the placeholders from your LPagery source file, just like you would on the template page content.

    For example:

    • Meta Title: "The Best {service} in {city}"

    • Meta Description: "Find top-rated {service} services in {city}. Contact us for more information."

  4. Save the Page:

    • After inserting the placeholders, save your template page. These placeholders will automatically be replaced with actual values when LPagery generates pages.

Do not insert placeholders into the "Slug" field of Yoast SEO. This does not work. Use the "URL Slug" input in LPagery instead!

By adding placeholders to the Yoast SEO meta fields, each generated page will have unique, dynamic meta data that matches the content of the page, helping improve your site's SEO performance.
