Sometimes it can happen that you accidentally delete the template page used to generate a set of pages. While this doesn’t delete the created pages, it prevents updates via the original template. Fortunately, LPagery allows you to assign a new template page to continue managing your created pages.

Steps to Assign a New Template Page

  1. Navigate to Manage
In your WordPress dashboard, go to the LPagery menu and select Manage.

  2. Open the Page Set Menu
Locate the page set for which the template page was deleted. Click the Menu icon (three dots) next to the page set.

  3. Reassign Template
From the dropdown, select Reassign Template.

  4. Select a New Template Page
Choose the new template page you’ve created.

  5. Update
After assigning a new template page you can then proceed with updating the pages like you originally wanted to.

Important Notes

  • Matching Placeholders: Ensure the new template page has the same placeholders as the original template page to maintain consistency across the created pages.

  • Double-Check Design: Review the new template page design to ensure it aligns with your existing pages.
