Updating the look and static content of your created pages ensures that your pages reflect the latest changes made to your template. This is particularly helpful if you’ve modified the design, layout, or non-placeholder content of the template page.

This feature is available for the LPagery Extended plan and above.

What Does "Update Look" Do?

This option syncs the template page's latest design and static content with the created pages. Placeholders used in the template remain unchanged; only the static parts are updated.

Examples:

  1. Design Changes:

    • If you modify the header, footer or any other design of the template page, all created pages will reflect the updated design.

  2. Static Content Updates:

    • If you add a new static section, such as a "Contact Us" block, or change text like "Welcome to our service" to "Experience the best service," these changes will be applied to the created pages.

  3. Styling Adjustments:

    • Updating fonts, colors, or image placements on the template will be applied to all pages created with that template.

Starting the Update Process

There are two ways to begin updating your pages:

  1. From the Dashboard Menu:

    • Click on “Update Pages” in the top menu of the LPagery dashboard.

    • Choose the pages you want to update by selecting their template page and the specific Page Set you want to update.

    • You can also choose "All Pages" which will update all pages you created with the chosen template page.

  2. From the Manage Section:

    • Go to “Manage” in the LPagery dashboard.

    • Locate the page set you wish to update.

    • Click the menu icon (three dots) next to the page set.

    • Select “Update Pages” from the dropdown menu.

Once you’ve started the update process, you’ll be prompted to select the type of update you want to perform.

Select Update Look

Choose the Update Look option to apply changes made to the template page to all pages created using that template. This update will ensure that the design, layout, and any static (non-placeholder) content on your template are reflected across all generated pages.

Finalizing the Update

  1. Review Updates: After selecting Update Look, LPagery will provide a summary of the pages to be updated. Review this carefully.

  2. Confirm & Apply: Once satisfied, click Review & Update Pages to review and apply the changes.

Why Use Update Look?

The Update Look feature saves time by allowing you to make changes to one template page and automatically apply them across all related pages, maintaining consistency and reducing manual work.
