Starting the Update Process

There are two ways to begin updating your pages:

  1. From the Dashboard Menu:

    • Click on “Update Pages” in the top menu of the LPagery dashboard.

    • Choose the pages you want to update by selecting their template page and the specific Page Set you want to update.

    • You can also choose "All Pages" which will update all pages you created with the chosen template page but in this case you will only be able to use the "Update Look" option.

  2. From the Manage Section:

    • Go to “Manage” in the LPagery dashboard.

    • Locate the page set you wish to update.

    • Click the menu icon (three dots) next to the page set.

    • Select “Update Pages” from the dropdown menu.

Once you’ve started the update process, you’ll be prompted to select the type of update you want to perform.

Types of Updates

LPagery offers three distinct types of updates to ensure your pages meet your latest needs:

1. Update Look & Static Content

  • Apply changes made to your template page to all pages created with that template.

  • Useful for updating design, layout, or styling changes made on your template page.

  • This will NOT update dynamic content from the placeholders and your source file. To change dynamic content use the "Update Content" option.

2. Update Settings

  • Adjust functional settings for the created pages, such as:

    • Parent pages

    • Page Status

    • Tags

    • Categories

  • Perfect for reorganizing your pages, refining their taxonomy or putting all pages into a different status.

3. Update Content

  • Update the content of your pages using the latest data from your source file.

  • Useful when you want to add new pages to a Page Set or change data on existing pages.

  • Add new pages or modify existing ones dynamically based on updated input data.
