If your drop-off location is closed or not accepting items, your Luggers will reach out to coordinate an alternate plan. Confirm hours ahead of time to keep your Lugg running smoothly.

If your drop-off location is closed or not accepting items when your Luggers arrive, your crew will reach out right away to figure out the best next step. Together, you can choose an alternate drop-off location to keep things moving, or if no alternative is available, your Luggers will bring the items back to the pickup location.

Keep in mind that any additional drive time and labor to reach an alternate location or return items will be reflected in your final bill.

Confirm your drop-off details ahead of time

A quick call before your Lugg can save you time and extra charges. This is especially important for locations with limited or irregular hours, like:

  • Disposal and junk removal facilities β€” many close earlier in the day than you'd expect

  • Donation centers β€” some stop accepting items before their posted closing time

  • Storage facilities β€” access hours may differ from office hours

When you're entering an address, you may see suggested locations nearby β€” like storage facilities, junk removal sites, or retail stores. These suggestions are based on locations in your area and include the hours listed publicly for each one. While we do our best to keep this information accurate, hours can change without notice. We always recommend confirming directly with the location before your Lugg to make sure they'll be open and ready to accept your items.
