When you start a free trial, you should not be billed until the end of your trial period. If you believe you've been charged can you take a look at your purchase history and double-check the charge is from Lumenate:
We've had this raised multiple times, and it turns out it's another payment from another service that had just coincidently timed with the Lumenate free trial.
