None of the following are essential for an impactful Lumenate experience, but following each one of them will enhance your immersion during the experience.
Darken your environment as much as possible. Close any doors, curtains and blinds, turn off any lights and even cover yourself underneath a blanket to block out as much light as possible.
Use good quality headphones. The audio is a huge component of our experiences and listening to the audio in high-quality will enhance your immersion into the experience.
Avoid alcohol. From our EEG studies we’ve found that alcohol substantially reduces the level of entrainment within the brain, reducing immersion.
Get comfortable. Finding a position that you can comfortable hold for the duration of the experience will ensure that your immersion isn’t affected by any aches or pains that arise from an uncomfortable position. See above for our recommended positions.
