Suggested Replies is an AI feature in the Inbox that generates up to three possible SMS responses based on the incoming message and your recent conversation history. Use them as smart drafts — pick one, edit it, or ignore them and write your own. The goal is to reduce typing, not remove your control.

How it works
When a new inbound SMS lands in the Inbox, the AI reads the message and the previous conversation, then offers up to three suggested replies with different tones or outcomes. Click one to drop it into the reply box, edit it to make it sound more personal, and send — or dismiss the suggestions and write from scratch.
Using suggestions well
Treat suggestions like smart drafts: reach for them when you're short on time or want ideas on how to respond, then tweak the wording to match your school's voice. Every suggestion is fully editable before you send.
Availability
Suggested Replies is available to schools on the Grow and Scale plans with the Inbox enabled. It isn't available on the Build tier — a Build-tier school interested in the feature would need to upgrade to Grow or Scale.

Are replies sent automatically? No — you review, optionally edit, and send. Nothing goes out on its own.
Can I edit a suggestion? Yes, every suggestion is editable.
Are suggestions tailored to my school? Not yet — they use general best practices plus your conversation context. More personalization is planned.
Do you store or train on my replies? No — the AI doesn't learn from or store individual replies today.
A suggestion missed the mark — what do I do? Edit or ignore it, and share feedback with your Lumion contact so suggestions improve over time.
