Student Welcome Letters (Sent Automatically at Signing)

When a student's financing agreement is fully signed, Lumion automatically sends a formal welcome letter emailed as a PDF and posted to their portal — confirming servicing details and full payment terms.

As soon as every party has signed a student's financing agreement, the student automatically receives a formal welcome letter. It's emailed as a PDF and posted to their online portal — there's nothing for your school to send by hand.

Who: Students whose financing is fully signed (automatic) · Where: Emailed as a PDF and posted to the student portal

What the welcome letter confirms

The letter confirms who services the account, how to reach you, when servicing begins, and the full payment terms: amount financed, rate, payment amount, and first due date.

When it's sent

The letter goes out once per agreement, the moment financing is fully signed.

Finding a copy later

Because a copy is retained, staff can look up precisely what any student was sent — useful when a student calls with a question about their terms or servicing details.
