The current version is a beta version and only available through the widget.
Set product will not be able to be purchased normally, and can only be exchanged with customer's points.
Point redemption in general usually can be redeem for a variety of products, and the amount is flexible. On the other hand, point exchange products will work as a "goal" for customers point balance, giving them more reasons to earn, save and in the end use their points.
Set up
Please follow the instruction below to set the feature up.
Activate SDK
Access the theme customization page of your current theme, navigate to the App embeds section, and activate "easyPoints x SDK".
Add checkout rule
Navigate to the Shopify "Checkout" settings, and add the "point-exchange-cart-checkout-validation" rule created by easyPoints.
Set a title for the rule, and save it. This will block the checkout if there are any issues or third party app functions that end up with a cart value that exceeds the current point balance.
Register products
Navigate to the "Exchange" tab in the easyPoints admin, and add a new exchange product. Select a product from the list, and set the amount of points customers need to exchange the product.
The checkbox at the bottom asks if you want the registered product to get activated in the active sales channels automatically.If a price is set for the product, customers will have to pay the set amount of points + the product price, so please make sure to set the product price to 0, if you want customers to exchange only with points.
Once registered, exchange products will appear at the bottom as a list, and can be edited or deleted anytime.
Confirming store front display
Access the store front and make sure the product can not be purchased normally (the add to cart button should be locked), and that the product is added in the exchange product list.
