Note: This setting is only available on the Plus Plan with Shopify Plus and requires the Magical Fees Checkout block to be installed and configured.
By default, Magical Fees applies fees in two places: on the Online Store (cart page, cart drawer, etc.) and at checkout (via the Checkout UI Extension). On Shopify Plus, you can choose to skip the online store entirely and let the Checkout UI Extension handle all fee application at checkout.
Use this setting if you want to avoid showing fees until checkout. To enable this setting:
App embed settings:
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Find your theme and click Customize.
Click Theme settings.
Go to the App embeds tab.
Find Magical Fees and click to expand the settings.
Turn on Don't apply fees on the online store (apply at checkout only).
Click Save.
Troubleshooting
Fees are still showing on my cart.
Check that you're on Shopify Plus and are subscribed to our Plus plan.
Fees aren't applying at checkout.
Make sure the Magical Fees Checkout block is installed and enabled in your checkout editor. Read how to install the Checkout block.
