Students Can Edit Work on Correct Problems

Magma Math allows students to revisit and edit problems they have already solved correctly. The original correct answer remains unchanged while students improve or revise their work.

How It Works

When a student reopens a correctly solved problem, an Edit button will appear.

Students can:

  1. Click Edit.

  2. Update or revise their work on the drawboard.

  3. Click Save Drawboard or move to the next problem.

Changes save automatically.

Why This Feature Matters

Allowing students to revise correct work supports deeper mathematical thinking by encouraging them to:

  • try alternative strategies

  • improve organization and explanation

  • reflect on their reasoning

  • strengthen communication of mathematical ideas

This helps shift the focus from simply getting the right answer to understanding and explaining the process.
