Students can open Practice Mode from the Practice tab on their dashboard.

When students select Start, Magma automatically recommends skills based on recent assignment performance.

If a student struggles with a skill in Practice Mode, Magma may automatically recommend an easier, related skill to help strengthen their understanding.

These recommendations focus on prerequisite skills that build toward the original concept. This means students may occasionally see skills from an earlier grade level.

Once students successfully complete the recommended prerequisite skill, Magma guides them back toward the skill they were originally practicing.

If additional support is needed, Magma may recommend another foundational skill to help students build confidence and understanding.

As students work through Practice Mode, Magma adjusts its skill recommendations based on their progress, providing additional foundational practice when needed.

Students can retry practice sets as many times as needed.

After completing a practice set, students earn a star rating based on accuracy.

Students unlock the next skill after earning at least 1 star and can always return later to improve their score.
