Centralised Assessments in Magma Maths give teachers a clear picture of pupils’ maths understanding across all schools in the trust - without the time-consuming paper marking.
Get started:
Here's how to find and start centralised assessments on your teacher account:
Go to the Assignments tab, then select the Unpublished tab.
Here you’ll find the assessment ready for you.
To publish and start the assessment:
Click the three dots next to the assessment, then select Publish.
(The assessment will now move to the Published tab. You’ll need to start it from there when ready.)Once it is published, click the Start button.
Once published and started, the assessment is live and pupils can begin working!
Centralised assessments will always say "From district" next to the date.
You should not create a new assignment for centralised assessment.
If you cannot find the assignment, please reach out to us and we will help.
If a pupil is locked out of the assignment, this will either be because they are paused or because safe mode is enable and they left the assignment. Read more about safe mode here.
